The Spanish Team Fantic rider, not yet in top form, found himself ninth after the first lap. From there he began his run-up which, overtaking after overtaking, took him up to second position.
Aron fought for the podium until the last lap, during the brawl he then dropped to sixth final position.
Despite not finishing on the podium, Aron gave a demonstration of resilience and fortitude, having to run the entire race with the pain worsening.
The next two weeks will allow him to prepare as best as possible for the Barcelona match scheduled for 24 to 26 May at Montmelò.
Xavi Cardelus ran an orderly and consistent race, recovering some positions compared to the start and finishing in 21st position.
